HPE Networking Instant On 1960 48G 2XGT 2SFP+ (JL808A)
Smart and scalable
The Aruba Instant On 1960 switch series consists of advanced, stackable, intelligently managed gigabit switches for growing businesses that need maximum performance to support bandwidth-hungry applications.
High-performance 10 gigabit connectivity
For environments with high bandwidth requirements, 10GBase-T and SFP+ uplink ports deliver blazing network speeds and eliminate traffic bottlenecks. The 24- and 48-port Gigabit models (PoE and non-PoE) and a 12-port add-on switch provide alternatives for flexible and affordable deployment.
Stack of up to four (4) 1960 series switches
Simplify network management by stacking up to four 1960 switches (access and aggregation) and managing them through a single IP address. You get up to 288 ports, including 16 10G uplink ports, for high-density environments, plus the flexibility to expand the network in the future.
Easy-to-use managed stacking in the cloud
In a few simple steps, install and configure a stack with the Aruba Instant On mobile app. You can manage the stack and ports remotely, minimizing network downtime: if the primary switch within the 1960 series stack fails, another switch will replace it and the network will continue to operate.
Future-proof your network
Advanced switching capabilities such as Layer 3 IPv4, IPv6 static routing, ACLs and spanning tree protocols support the applications and devices you have today, as well as those you may add in the future. In addition, True Stacking makes it easy to configure, manage and troubleshoot physical switches as a single entity, making it easy to scale your network as your business grows.
Power over Ethernet (PoE) support
The 1960 switches support Class 4 and Class 6 PoE on selected ports. PoE power of up to 30 W is available for Class 4 PoE devices such as access points, surveillance cameras and VoIP phones, and PoE power of up to 60 W is available for Class 6 PoE devices such as cameras with pan/tilt/zoom functions and video-enabled IP phones.
Robust security
Protect your company's data and keep unauthorized users out of the network with advanced security features such as IEEE 802.1X, MAC authentication, VLAN, network access control (ACL), port security, DHCP eavesdropping, ARP attack prevention and RADIUS authentication.
