BDCOM S2900-24P4X - Layer 3 Ethernet Switch with 24 GE and 4 10GE ports (1 console port, 16 SFP 100M/1000M ports, 8 combined SFP/TX GE ports, 4 SFP+ 10GE/GE ports; 100 to 240 VAC input, 60HZ, cooling fan, 1U, standard 19-inch rackmount installation.
The S2900 L3-lite series is a next-generation 10GE aggregation switch introduced by BDCOM. It is targeted at IP MAN (metropolitan area network), government and enterprise networks, Internet cafes and diskless work environments. It has been developed on the basis of high-performance hardware and BDROS, a software platform with BDCOM's own intellectual property rights.
It supports features such as powerful ACL, flexible QinQ, 1:1 or N:1 VLAN switching, Ethernet OAM, carrier-grade QoS and industrial-grade 10GE Ether-ring, ensuring that this switch series meets the requirements of applications in all kinds of complicated sites. It also supports Layer 3 routing protocol.
Innovative virtual group switching technique
Innovative BVSS (BDCOM Virtual Switching System): The S2900 Series L3-lite virtualizes multiple physical devices into one. The performance, reliability and management of the virtual system are superior to physical ones.
Improved performance: BVSS takes full advantage of each physical device link, preventing STP from blocking the link and protecting the original link as much as possible.
High reliability: Based on the advanced distribution mechanism and efficient physical cross-link aggregation function, the logical control plane, service control plane and service data plane are separated. Thus, the S2900 L3-lite series can support continuous layer 3 routing forwarding, avoiding service interruption as a result of a single point of failure.
Simple management: BVSS performs single IP management, which greatly improves network efficiency and reduces operating costs.
Main characteristics:
Industrial Ethernet ring with zero delay and zero packet loss
It supports industrial-grade EAPS and its protection switching is less than 50 ms. Its high reliability is represented by zero packet loss, which has been proven by many years of application in Grid, rail transport and defense systems.
Ethernet switch at telecommunications level
